Hello crafty friends here's the card i made for the Glitternsparkle challenge 138, the theme is one for the ladies. Our sponsor is A day for daisies & the image is You may kiss the bride (i figured a lot of young ladies dream of looking like a princess on their wedding day).
I matted white embossed card onto an 8x8" blank then matted a die cut square(from Tonic) onto silver mirri card & mounted on foam pads. I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir pencils, used wink of stella on the veil & used Chloes Sparkelicious glitter for the dress, holes in the Tonic die & around the edges of the embossed card. I made a sentiment, printed it out, mounted on silver mirri then attached foam pads on outer edges only to make it stand out. The die cut embellishments are from Spellbinders & i die cut some Sue Wilson leaves & flowers then added a sparkly embellishment to the centre. Hope you like it. Happy crafting. x

Hello, another week has come around & we have a brand new challenge(137) over at Glitternsparkle & this time our sponsor is oddballartco. our theme is use some ribbon. The image used is Patty Cake & i coloured her with Promarkers. I thought she looked sad so decided to use bright, zingy orange, lemon & lime. I hand cut a frame using orange card, mounted with foam pads onto the image. I matted orange card onto a white card blank then matted a bright design paper on top. I then placed the framed image on top & embellished with a snipped Tattered Lace die cut & colour matched flowers & the all important ribbon (with a bow).
Hi & welcome to my blog page.I have just made this for my grandson's & really enjoyed doing it. I took an impression of their footprints using air drying clay which i lightly dusted with pastel blending chalk. I used a Katy Sue design mould & clay to make the embellishments & painted them with acrylic paint then fixed to a 'washing line'. After i backed the pic with polka dot card i wrote a little message(using word), printed out then cut & affixed with foam pads. I think it'll make a nice keepsake. x

Sunday 10 May 2015

Good morning all & welcome. This is a card i made for this weeks Glitternsparkle challenge, the theme is embossing dry or heat & the image is Telsa from aurelia-art.com, spellbinding-stamps. I loved the image so coloured it twice, once in magenta then in scarlet colourways using Copics & Spectrum Noir pens & pencils then i die cut the images & used a little blending chalk around the edges. I embossed some magenta satin card which i matted onto black card then layered onto the white fold back card i had made. I die cut 'TWINS' & added the letters. I left the middle section blank to add an appropriate sentiment to & stencilled corner flourishes using Imagination Crafts Sparkle medium. Hope you like.

Hello hope the bank holiday is going well despite the weather. Here's the stepper card i made for the Glitternsparkle challenge 135, theme anything goes. Our sponsor is Lacey Sunshine & the image is Eleanor Chillin,' which i coloured using blending chalks from Dovecraft, (with Wink of Stella clear across the glasses), then layered onto pink card. I covered the card with a paper & decorated with matching bow from the Forget-me-not range as i wanted to use pink & lemon in the scheme. I added tonic diecuts ,white laid on top of pink (to leave a drop shadow) at the top of the card. I cut apart a tattered Lace diecut & made a little display of pink & lemon flowers, which i fixed to one of the 'steps' & diecut Tattered Lace sentiment letters which i fixed on the other 'step'. Happy crafting x
